Due to the shortage of available homes on the market, many people are having trouble identifying a home they would like to move into once they sell their current home. As a result, they are hesitant to put their homes on the market until they find their next home first.
But what happens when a client finds the right home but needs to sell their current home in order to buy the new one?! Most home sellers are unwilling to accept a contract that is contingent upon the successful sale of their of the buyer’s home unless the house is officially on the market, or even better yet, already under contract. Normally, the process of correctly putting a home on the market can take up to 2 weeks, but by being proactive, we can cut that timeframe down to just one day. This allows our sellers to wait to put their homes on the market without losing the ability to put a competitive offer on a new home.
